Brian Grimm won the award for Best Sound Design for The Baltimore Waltz at the 2014-2015 Bartell Theatre Awards.
However, he had 2 gigs on the same night, and was unable to accept his award that evening. Scott Bennett & Erin Baal accepted on his behalf, and today Erin had the pleasure of presenting him with his very own Bartie!
Not only did Brian design the recorded sound cues, but he also learned the film themes specified in the script, composed his own pieces, and played live for every performance! We first met Brian as part of the composing and performance team on 2013’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He is an exceptional musician and composer, but he is also a fantastic human being and Strollers is privileged to call him a friend. Congrats Brian!
